Has anyone heard of these places? basically the DRX-9000 or whatever decompression treatment for about $5000.00. 9I did this last year, the doc told me that back pain would be a thing of the past, I was in tears, I finally found help, help that I thought would work. The doc was so very confident that it would and he gladly accepted my money. I got absolutly no pain relief at all, this is a 20 session course and I went almost 40 times. The doc turned out to be fairly incompetent and would forget to set the correct program or strap me down or unlock the table, this dude was always forgetting to do something. I am extremely up set over this, I mean extremely. less than year after the treatments I lost a lot of the function in my foot, thank you spinal aid. I am very seriously concidering taking them to small claim court. Any comments on this matter would be greatly apprectated. Thank you

Well this is a common tune for many spine patients using these types of machines. I've been through the program myself and out alot of money. The difference for me, was I knew going in it wasn't going to be my ticket to wellness. I was even told it wouldn't cure me, but it would help me feel better. It did, for a while, but it made no difference whatsoever in the disc(s).

At the top of this board is a post, called "sticky posts" titled DRX-9000. It's quiet a large thread and lots of info from us on it and those asking questions about it. I think you will hear an echo from what you've been through yourself.

In my opinion, this type of program is nothing more than a mechanical workout for the back and hard earned people's money thrown down the drain. It is not a cure.

These machines are scattered throughout the US these days and some people running them are less than qualified doctors to begin with, much less making magic promises that just are not so.

I dont know if it's worth your time and energy dragging them into Court to be honest. But you do what you feel you have to.

I did talk to a lawyer and she recomended to take them to small claims and take my chances there. I have an MRI before and after and it clearly shows that the disc's or worse now than before the decompression rip offf
