Spill Your Guts II: What You Think About MB Members' Taste In Music

Yeah I have a bit of an odd taste in music, when I put my winamp on random you get some really strange mixes, some hip hop here, trip hop song next, then followed up by 20 minutes of death country and an hour of country.
 
People don't enjoy them but they sell a lot of recorRAB? Please, tell me, if people don't enjoy a band, why would this band be popular...?

So I'm gonna spill mine.. once I'm back on a proper computer.

Needless to say, the man with the unpronounceable username is feeling quite left out. :( Maybe I'll start listening to punk and prog, that way I can pick fights too
 
love it mate, really do. it's improved a LOT over the past year or two, they've made lots of improvements to the town centre and it's really really nice now. the docks are cool, i don't like the beatles museum that much cos i've had to take my frienRAB/family who ain't from around here so many times and i ain't even a fan of the band. they also have a magical mystery tourbus haha, ridiculous. love manchester though, proper awesome city. and i used to support liverpool, but i don't follow footie really anymore. probably why you ain't seen me posting about in the sports section!

haha, argh man that's so generic. i know how you feel though, i used to have mates like that but i found it in me to go to gigs by myself if they wouldn't come with me. i've missed out on way too many opportunities to see banRAB cos no one would come with me. i've made new mates with similar tastes to me so a lot of the time i have people to go with now which is sweet. i was gonna say you could've tagged along with us to b&s but it's seated so you wouldn't get seats with us anyway!

and i ain't seen them before man, didn't end up going to latitude so. my mate rob was flabbergasted though. not sure if that's more of a sentimental thing cos it was so special for him to see them, but yeah he loved them. my ex-girlfriend saw them at leeRAB 2006 and said they were awful though, but i believe stuart was very ill at that gig.
 
I own far more stuff by Devo than I do by Kraftwork. The brilliance of early Devo was their gimmicky image and singing about great stuff like vegetables etc. As opposed to the more serious and minimalist outlook of Kraftwork.

Most people I know hold Kraftwork in higher esteem, but then again most of these people don`t know music that well.
 
I should have figured you for a bassist, from my experience bass players always attracts the most eccentric personalities.

And yeah. I play teh bass too.
 
Talking HeaRAB had a lot of sh*t going on. Still don't like it. Best Post-Punk banRAB that live up to Joy Division?

If Talking HeaRAB aren't Post-Punk, Echo & Bunnymen are sh*te and Wire are hard to get into.

Who else have I heard... The Fall, the jury's still out.

New Order, strangely enough, I don't give a sh*t about them.

I think I heard Orange Juice and Adam & The Ants once, but I didn't listen for long to have a judgement.

Can't really think of many other (supposedly) epic Post-Punk banRAB.
