the problem with S3 was trying to fit it into the requested timeframe ..... jumps in editing (especially with the sandman stuff) .....

pity they couldn't do a extended version of it, just to fill in the gaps

They didn't have decent material to edit anyway. On a scene by scene basis the material was simply horrible, a large part of it due to Topher grace being the worst possible choice to play Brock/Venom. Made especially apparent with the choppy way the movie progressed.


Venom really needed someone who could bring out the psycho angle, and Topher just looked liked an angry teenager on screen. meh

The problem is the studio rushing things and taking over the creative control of Sam Raimi.

I think if they only introduced Venom and focused on Sandman and Spider man storyline and battles plus the green goblin II. Also, if they made it really dark (not dark knight, dark, but fucking dark) instead of campy, emo and shitty, then it'd be good film. I guess they really tried to appeal to kids. : /
