Spiderman 3

yeah it does lol theres nothing worse than seeing a sequel and not understanding the storyline from the one before!

wanted to go to the cinema tonight to watch 28 weeks later but they've changed the showing times overnight so there is only one showing at 9.20pm this eve (if I went, i'd fall asleep lol) gggrrrrrr

Yeah I think I'd prefer 28 weeks later to Spiderman but I guess I'm gonna have to wait til the weekend to watch it when they have a showing at 5pm or 9.40pm!

ggrr am so annoyed with cineworld!!

There is a sort of catch up sequence at the start of Spidey 3, but it uses still shots of the storey. Go buy Spiderman 2.1 with all the new extras (worth the money to see J. Jamerson in the spiderman suit) from Woolworths for

I have a better idea - don't bother with Spidey 3 at all - its 5h1te.

There's an allegedly "humourous" bit in the middle which was meant to be an homage to Saturday Night Fever which just made me cringe.

Save your spondoolies!

I enjoyed Spiderman 3 although I didnt think it was as good as the previous 2 films. I think people had such high expectations for Spiderman 3 that the negative reaction to the films release was too be expected!

Saw it last night and thought it was awful. Tobey Mcguire just cannot pull off "cool" and so the parts in the middle were just ridiculously hard to watch!

Venom was quite a good bad guy, but the way everything with Sandman was handled just wasn't that great!

they were my favourite bits - he seemed to be enjoying himself playing that. When he was walking down the street trying to be cool was very funny (IMO)

I'm almost ashamed to say this but I thought Spiderman 3 was fantastic :o

Me and my bf (who is admittedly a huge Spidey fan) bloody loved it, recommended it to everyone we knew and then couldn't understand why they all hated us for making them see it.

From a girlie perspective, I liked how this one had more emotional tension going on between MJ, Peter and Gwen, rather than just pretty much non stop action. Also enjoyed the temptuous relationship between Peter and Harry. The SFX were amazing and I just loved it in general.

I figured they concentrated more on Pete/MJ's relationship than the action in an attempt to broaden the audience appeal - judging by your comment it appears to have worked.

Tobey Maguire was hilarious in this movie IMO. He has the nerdiness down to a tee. And the scene with JK Simmons being constantly buzzed by his secretary Elizabeth Banks while trying to stay calm is pure Mel Brooks.
