Venom has not been shown in the trailer, only eddie brock. All pics of black suit spiderman is in fact, duh.. spiderman.

All CGI for Venom will be used in the coming months, don't expect to see Venom in a trailer till probably the main theatrical trailer or the second one.

There are zero, zilch. Venom has been stated to be worked on in the coming months as CGI for the film is worked on and polished.

I think what they were complaining about is that the suit is just a black version of the original spiderman suit. When Spidey came into contact with the symbiote suit, it was like another layer of skin all over his body and it looked differant than both the original spiderman suit and the venom suit. It was all solid black with just a big white spider on it and white eyes.
