Spider-man 4 and 5

I think Vulture is the best out of those, purely because I'd like to see a flying villain again. But I do think they have teased us for long enough with Lizard.

I agree they have plenty of ideas, perfectly good is questionable!

Personally I never liked McGuire, I think he's a little weak. His comical delivery is good, other than that I'd say he's below par. Kirsten Dunst is OK, I could take her or leave her from an acting perspective. Now shes been in the others, they may as well keep her.

Sorry, must've not checked the link in the original post! Probably just skim-read the post, saw the story as a headline on RAB and assumed it was new developments.

My sentiments exactly ;)

Here is some news from Dark Horizons website about the Spiderman sequels:

"Sam Raimi has gone from being tired and dejected to being enthusiastic about the upcoming fourth film in the "Spider-Man" franchise.

"I'm really excited about Spider-Man, and I'm hoping to direct it" he tells MTV News. "I don't have a script yet, but production would start probably by March of 2010, I'm guessing."

That's a long way off? "It sounRAB like a long time away, but we need a script first, and a lot of pre-production has to take place." He's also keen on getting Kirsten Dunst back - "I hope she'll be written into it. I couldn't imagine making one without her, and I think she's an important part of the movies."

What about the talk of doing two sequels back-to-back? "That had been talked about. It's Amy Pascal's [Sony studio chief] decision. I don't think it has been decided yet, and she's the one that's really going to make that decision; I'm really curious myself."

Could he do the exhausting schedule? "If Tobey and me, and all the producers, like the story for two pictures and Amy wanted to do it, then we would do it. It just hasn't been written yet."
