I'm into SM now for about ... 13 years which is a bit more than half my life - also thanks to the cartoons in the 90's :)
 
After reading so many bad reviews, I was afraid to watch this. It has been the only Spidey movie I wasn't able to see in theaters, but DUDE, this movie is spectacular!!

I couldn't believe how amazing this was! The second one was so good that I feared this wouldn't live up to it, but it surpassed it.

Such a great job done by everyone. :clap:

I feel I must include: I never read the comics so to me the movies are stand alone. Also, I love the examination of Peter Parker as much as I enjoy Spider Man.
 
I also saw this movie last night and thought it was good. Wasnt the best like the other two though. In a way the acting seemed a bit cheesy to me. I felt bad though about Harry towards the ending.
 
I was actually disappointed by Topher in the end..he was great as the witty jerk and Venom was alright but at the end his death just seemed pathetic.

I'm glad Peter forgave his uncle's killer..the scene was kinda..weak though.

I think they'll do a better job with a 4th one. :nod: They've had time and they have heard what audiences didn't like about the 3rd one, so hopefully they learned and gives the best Spidey yet!
 
I agree with you as well. I was only interested the 2nd time I saw it for the Harry/James parts and I am planning to see it again this week.

I saw this movie last night. It was good, but IMO not as good as Spidey I and II. I didn't care for the soap operish love triangle that developed between Peter/MJ/Harry. I was expecting more of a rivalry and battle (physical and mental) between Peter and Harry, after all the build up since Spidey I. I think the writers may be slipping a bit, not sure how good a Spiderman 4 would be.

Despite this, I did enjoy the comic relief in the movie, and I loved the action sequences. They were all amazing!
 
Wow!well you have been on this earth longer then me - ive only been a fan fo 9 years i started getting into spidey when i watched the 90's cartoon:) im 16 now & i still watch it im dedicated;)
 
I have been a fan of Spider-Man since the 70's when I was 6, my ex-husband got me more into it when we were married, and now, I can't wait to get more.

I still can't believe they are doing a fourth, Honestly! I am HUGE Spidey fan here!.
Have been ever since the first two [which are my favorite] but Ever since SM3.....
I absolutely have lost interest in it, But then again I am willing to give it another shot.
Or I would not be here! I seriously hope sam raimi reeboosts the series.
Sticks with one villian and get's spidey back on track. :)
 
I did, I went and got a t-shirt, the books, playing cards, soundtrack, poster, and plastic bracelet, so far.
