I dont know if anyone knows this show but I'll ask it anyways. Anyone heard or seen the show Spicy city? Its was a series that Ralph Bakshi made with HBO.... I used to think Frank Miller's Sin City was influenced by this. I just hope a DVD release of it comes soon....Or better yet a soundtrack.

I remember Spicy City, however, I barely saw the series and so my knowledge of it is scant.

I believe it had lots of smut in keeping with a Bakshi production.

I didn't have cable when it was on HBO, so I missed this and Spawn at the time. A friend of mine used to tape episodes but all I got to see was a little bit of the episode with the bongo player's severed hands. I've been a little upset that I never really got a chance to check it out.

I remember not liking it very much. But, I was pretty young at the time, so that might have had something to do with it.
i used to watch it when it aired ( i think only months before south park premiered) and it was a real fun toon, kinda corny, but lots of smutty, nude, humorous stories. i think only a handful of episodes were made...i found them recently on streaming sites, although i dont think a dvd will be made anytime soon.
