Okay so i am cooking a London broil on the BBQ (propane). I had an idea of a spice mixture but not sure if it'll go well with the meat and BBQ.

Spice Rub Idea

Smoked Paprika,Cumin, Chili Powder,Kosher Salt/fresh cracked white and black pepper.

Other spices I have that aren't included but i think 1-2 would be great.
Cinnamon
Ginger
Nutmeg
Allspice
Oregano
Basil
Thyme
Red Pepper
Cayenne Pepper
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Fennel Powder

So if anyone could come up with a better working spice rub would be great. Planned on pouring a little Extra Virgin Olive Oil either before the spice rub or before grilling.

I'm cooking it as a surprise on the BBQ outside for my fiance's Birthday. Want it to be just right and not a completely screw up. BBQ is not exactly my forte give me a pot and an oven I'm fine charcoal or propane grill and I'm like sponge bob trying to BBQ.

Being my BBQ is a little on the old side it only has High/Med/Lo heat no real heat sensor to go by. I was assuming a Lo temp cooked over a few hours would be the best bet.

any help or BBQ tips would be super appreciated.
