Spice and Wolf

As far as I know, only the first 3-4 chapters are scanalated since both the series and manga are based of a light novel series.

Episode 6 was awesome. Loved when Horo howled and the dogs ran away. xD

I've just finished watching episodes 1 to 4. I like how I'm drawn to the setting of Spice and Wolf - peddlers, currencies, old agriculture, and other stuff that convinces me that this is either the Renaissance or the Middle Ages.

My intuition tell me that Chloe is the person seen near the end of episode 4. She and her associates must have tried to capture her at Pasroe, but once they found out Horo left the village with Lawrence, they followed the duo all the way to Pattsio. This must have been the big opportunity Chloe wanted Lawrence join her in; handing Horo over to the Church in return for treasure.

Episode 04
I thought Chloe might also be the person at the end...or maybe one of the missing companions Horo was talking about? But she'd probably have a bigger reaction if that was the case...so you're probably right, not the mention the title of the next episode seems to point out that. Love the ED.

This show was quite a refreshing break from Bleach, at least until the next episode rolls in. But, I thoroughly enjoyed Spice and Wolf, even more so because I trade in the currency market.

Yes, in the last episode when Horo mentioned she settled the matter with the wolves via mature means, at first I thought "sex" with the big bad wolf. But later I came to think she just prostrated herself and begged for her and company to be left alone.

I would really like them to create a second season. I felt that the main plot driving the story and keeping mine and most other people's attention was not so much Macroeconomics 101, but rather the developing amorous relationship between the two main characters. In episode four, Lawrence and Horo almost kissed, and she was willing to let him hold her.

Later in the fan-fiction section I'll have to write my own piece of work concerning the two, with a crossover into Bleach-land, of course. Here's a new zanpakuto release command -- Stray, Lobo Fuerte!

yeah so the wolf is cute and now I am definitely going to have to keep a watch on this anime ^^ it seems like the story is going to be awesome and the wolf thing is definitely a plus for me XD

just saw an advertisement today and ordered myself the first season of spice and wolf, this time it has english and english subtitles!! so I can watch it!! also looks like there will be more to come

The nudity is just rated PG. You won't even see anything. And it's also necessary because Horo is a wolf incarnate. You can't expect a wolf to transform into human form and has clothes. Besides, the story is so good and addictive. The characters are so likable especially HORO.

Spice and Wolf fans, check out my blog.

loved this show seen all of it (unless more is to come) being an economics geek I loved it. My girlfriend loves economics to (anime not so much but a little) wonder if I could get her into this?

The macroeconomics aspects certainly gave it an air of purpose though I enjoyed those scenes as well as the character development scenes XD

I tried to watch the first episode and I just couldn't get into it. Nudity in anime doesn't really bother me all that much. This anime just seemed very dull and boring to me. I will need to see a couple more episodes to make a final conclusion. Although I don't know when that will be, watching that one episode was slow and painful.

Episode 08

Two scenes of Horo-cuteness:
1) Lawrence describing preserved fruits in honey - Horo's expression was priceless
2) Lawrence's reaction to the sheppard girl arouses (possibly) jealous feelings in Horo - her expression there was also priceless, and adorable.

This series deserves more than 12 episodes.
