sup ppl ditto on that , I've been watchin the spicy wolf series since about ep 4 , and always found it in my top pics. The ending was no different it clearly is no epic but it was enjoyable as a episode and a series . I would probably like ep7 when ever it gets out but overall i like where they left the series

Man Lawrence lost huge points with me for making Horo sad. Damn him I say! As for the episode itself, this show really hasn't had a bad episode yet. Every new one is better than the last and it's going to be so sad when it finishes. It's 1 of those shows you hope would go on for like 24 - 30 episodes rather than the 12 or 13 (whatever it is) that it's schedualed for. Here's hoping Horo stays with Lawrence at the end of the show however.
 
omg that big guy, everytime from shown from the OP song, i always thought it was Horo.
NO WAY she would lose T_T and i gotta agree Lawrence should just quit doing business, he got betrayed over and over again,bad in finding business partner =x
mannnnnnn...i demand a second season ! i'm not satisfied with so less Horo appearance xD
 
Finally got around to watching this and I'm still so upset that this show finished. I want a season 2 already. As expected episode 7 had nothing at all to do with any of the plot and is just a sweet episode about Horo and Lawrence getting closer. Those who have seen the various PVC models of Horo will recognize her outfit on 1 of them in this episode too. Still, Horo makes the most simple things, such as eating an apple or some seeRAB (? i think), look so bloody cute.

lol Anyways......sheppard girl makes me laugh.....I have no idea why, as soon as I see her face I started laughing like a jack ass
 
Started watching today and just caught up right now. I'm really enjoying this little gem of an anime. I do have a question though, how many episodes is this going?
 
I liked how it ended. Spice & Wolf is one short & sweet series that I'll remeraber - renaissance, merchants, Horo, dominance of the church - the setting and the characters were refreshing.

Plot Summary: Craft Lawrence, a 25 year old peddler travelling from town to town selling and buying various things to make a living during a period much like Europe in the Middle Ages. One night when stopped at the town of Pasroe, he finRAB in his wagon a 250 year old pagan wolf deity girl named Holo. She appears to be that of a 15 year old girl, except for a wolf tail and ears. She introduces herself as the town's goddess of harvest who has kept it blessed with good harvests of wheat for many years. Despite having the responsibility to watch over the town, she wants to go back to her homeland in the north called Yoitsu, she believes the people have already forsaken her anyway and that she has kept her promise to maintain the good harvests. She manages to bargain her way out of the village by making a deal with Lawrence to take her with him. As they travel, her wisdom helps increase his profits, but at the same time, her true nature draws unwanted attention from the church.

Well, I also watched EP7 (the raw) and I did understand it (I hope...) Well, just like as said above, 7 is just one of the sweet relationships of both Horo and Lawrence. Well, glad I watched that EP7, I thought it was a special though...

Anyway, awaiting for news about this series whether they'll continue it or not.
 
Spice and Wolf was excellent--definitely one of my favourites from the Winter season. The plot wasn't particularly interesting, as it wasn't fast paced or engaging for the most part (at least for me), but the relationship between Horo and Lawrence was totally worth it. I really didn't expect this anime to be great when I started it (merchants and trading didn't sound too exciting for me), but Horo totally made it worth it. The ending was quite open, which definitely leaves the possibility of a second season up in the air. I wouldn't be surprised at all if season 2 came around late this year or early next year. Does anybody know if there is still material from the manga that hasn't been covered?
 
Romance is one of the genres, so we can probably say with a fair degree of certainty that a kiss between Horo and Lawrence is coming our way. But, I don't see Lawrence and Horo sticking together. So it may be a bittersweet ending.

But who knows? This is one of those rare times where I hope I'm wrong.
 
First episode was nice, somethings different from the manga but having not read the novels both are based on I don't know which is more correct. Hopefully it'll continue along the same storyline the manga has, though the studio doing it isn't known for their shows being any good.
