Speedymoto Rearset install/questions

Man.. This really sucks.. You guy's went through a lot of B.S for this deal.. Send-em back for refund and sink your hard earned dollars into a known quality set.. (thats in stock) You all deserve much better than this..

Umm - I did get mine to bolt on the inside. If you can thread if from one side it should thread from the reverse..

With you here - the instructions are just plain wrong. You have to attach the levers before you put the pegs on the frame.

Finally got mine on and same problem - basically sounds like you and me have them set in a similar position with pegs further back (hense needing the (broken) c linkage).
When I tried to put my belly pans back both sides rub against them.

Bottom line is these sets look good but good design is much more than just looks and you cannot fully adjust them as shown in the cad video without scraping against the fairings. Also the QC must be practically non existent as both our sets should not have left slowemoto with those cracks in them.

Tomorrow Im changing mine back to stock and there going back.

damn im glad i pulled out of this deal...................imo i think they dont look as good as the advertised pics on the website and the flat paint and now rubbing on the belly pan.....wtf

In theory that is correct and I tried that. Took everything apart even and flipped the shift lever over in my hand and tried to screw it in from the backside to see if it would work. NADA. It would not go, not even with a little pressure. So, I don't know if it was a machining error or what. I could probably re-thread them, but why should I have to for a $500 set???

UPDATE: I have removed the rearsets, put them back in packaging, and will contact Randy about returning this sub-par set. I hope there won't be any issues with returns since they did are not mint condition anymore. Hell, they weren't mint when I got them

Wow... I am somewhat dumbfounded by this, SpeedyMoto has never failed to impress me before, so this is quite an unexpected shock.

Anyways, I am currently in Indy for the MotoGP races, I will be back in the shop on Tuesday and will Contact SpeedyMoto to find out just what happened, and send refunds to anybody who is unsatisfied.
