Speedymoto rear set interest...possible goup buy?

Speedymoto has pre-orders going on their website, they do not have anything available off the shelf.

Its fair to say a shop as specialized as Speedymoto, makes parts as they need them, without a lot of inventory. Also, I'm sure it takes a while to make one of these sets. I think we're just caught up in a delay at Speedymoto.

this is my first post on this site, ive been watching this from the very start. I PM'd Randy on another site to ask him if something was in stock because I had heard good things about him. I waited 3 days and no response so I called, im not leaving a message for someone that is suppose to be "operating a business" to return my calls (mistake #1) so I picked another vendor then I was curious to see how other people rated him so I stumbled on this very long thread.

Im not a genius but does nobody else see the coincidence in Randy accepting the money, taking an emergency trip to Chicago and nobody getting there rear sets for almost 2 months now? Maybe its true and maybe its not but it seems very strange to me.

Yes I am busting your balls, It's been 4 days since you made a response to this at least have the courtesy to post and give DAILY updates. (Mistake #2)

Your limited knowledge of products and the way you handle your business will probably be what ends it. I understand you are 22 or 23 years old, but leaving your dad to mail your stuff whether he cared or not is irresponsible IMO. Your business, you run it.

This is my personal opinion, but from what ive experienced attempting to give you my business and this thread, there is no way I would ever recommend you to anyone.

Rule of thumb: Piss a customer off they will tell 7 ppl, Make them happy they will tell 1 person.

its definitely not speedymotos fault, I spoke to them about this entire thing at MotoGP. They have had a very limited amount of rear sets complete but were trying to ramp up production.

crap to blame anything to Randy ...

possible you don't know him and even don't know that he was out of town for some days. All my stuff from him was serviced from him super well.

It's always easy to try to bring someone on an online forum down ... I call this very cheap.

I do not have a dog in this fight either way, but Speedymoto says "pre-order" and "contact us for ESTIMATED time of arrivial" So it stands to reason that if Speedymoto does not have "Speedymoto rearsets" then Randy is not going to have any either yet. He just should not of taken the loot till he had in stock, being out money without rearsets sucks a$$.

personally I dont blame Randy...he always said it would take a while and has always been honest about the delays whether we liked it or not....the discount offered is at least $ 200 cheaper than anywhere else....its a great deal and they will eventually come.... but in the end its up to you if you want to wait a little longer or pull out of the deal....I believe Speedymoto is at fault here as they obviously bullshitted him on the ETA and now its backfired in his face...I have emailed Speedymoto about ETA a few times..the first time they said they had stock, the second time they said they have no stock and the 3rd and 4th time I never got a reply.....I have bought many product of Randy and they have always been well priced and were delivered asap....

Unfortunately it's just how our merchant systems work. Eventually I would like to change that, but one thing at a time here.

Anyways if anyone thinks they could get these from Speedymoto direct, faster than me, I would love to see them try (seriously, if you are worried, just call them and hear it from the horses mouth) as they just aren't finished yet (I even asked earlier today while placing more orders with them for other items).

I didn't want to ask for a date this time. They said they are only waiting on the footpegs to come back from anodizing.

Honestly, I don't harbor any anger at Speedymoto for this delay, as I fully understand their position and I know how things can happen to slow production, especially when you produce products that are known for being of the absolute highest quality without compromise.

Now obviously we never wanted to be in the position were we would actually have a delay either, but thats life I guess...
