Speed Racer

I thought it was alright..... I mean it is a childrens film after all. I don't know why everyone is getting their pants in a twist over it.
 
I went to my local Imax to see Speed Racer, and i loved it! There was only about 10 of us there.

It was a total ride, complete blast. Visuals, CGI, animation, the races just all simply stunning and it looked incredible on the huge Imax screen.

Yes it's a kiRAB film, but so what! Didn't bother me in the slightest and there was some nice humour in it too, particular Speed Racer's little brother and his pet chimp.

I'd love to have seen this film stoned! :D Hahaha!
 
I ordered this film twice in a hotel and fell asleep both times (possibly jetlag)

I have just watched it again - and actually enjoyed it.

I think it helps to appreciate the style they were going for.

I found it (this time) beautiful, to watch and quite exciting!


I think(/hope) it will become a cult classic
