speed question

Hello, I wonder how gnutella clients handle speed, do the actually show the real-time speed or they just show the speed the other person entered on his/her client???

they show real speed because i saw it change and i have looked at the source code for a few clients and it can change with the listing or the download so say if you got a 48 kbps start speed it could change for the better to 128 kbps or for the worst and crash. Hpoe this helps
