Spectrum Sucked Today

Had a bad experience at Spectrum. Needed an oil filter for the 600 mile oil change. The parts guy was rude in general, and looked at me like I was a peice of S#!t when I asked him if there was a Military or MSF discount.
Got the impression that they were a bunch of arrogant pricks. Then I read this thread, confirming that I'm not the only one dissatisfied with the experience. I plan to give Newport Ducati a try after getting the wrong part twice in a row (different parts each time) from Del Amo. At least Del Amo gives 10% off parts and accesories for Military.
The Holy Grail is for me to find a parts guy with more knowlege about my bike than I can pick up in a forum. So far Dan Kyle is the only one that fits that description, but he concentrates on Suspension and Engine tuning, not silly things like maintenence parts and farkles.

Boy, you got that right!!! What a bunch of crap...
I put equal blame on the dealer owner/manager. He should never have allowed a jerk journalist to take off with the bike for HOURS, while paying customers waited. They just dont get it, with Customer Handling....sad really. Its gonna be Brea or Newport for me, I think..
