I just purchased a 2002 dodge intrepid with the notorious 2.7l engine. The major problem with these engines is the tiny portals are easily clogged with engine sludge. The intrepid only has 16,000 miles on it and the guy "claims" to have changed the oil early everytime, as they always do. So, my question is which engine oil would be the best for my situation? What else should I consider when looking for an engine oil? I've looked at castrol GTX and their spectatular claims, is the good? P.S. I don't mind spending money if it means NO engine problems.
Specific needs engine oil. 2002 dodge intrepid!!!?
