I'm a Special Education Aide to 5th graders. I like teaching and am currently a youth leader at church for teenagers.I substitute taught last year and taught high school special education for one day. I really enjoy teens-adults. I would really like to know if it's something I want to do but I'm very stressed out because I'm not real good with kids. I really would like to teach reading or H.S English or be a H.S Special Ed. Teacher. Right now I'm kinda "stuck" it seems.
I'm doing a good job, however, I'm not a nurturer, so it makes it hard with the kids, however with high school students I feel I can do a better job. I really never though I'd want to teach so this is kind of new territory.
Any advice?
