Special Bell Deal for Look TV Customers

I got a letter from Look TV last week saying they are discontinuing residential TV service as of Nov. 15th. They continue to say that they have negotiated an amazing deal with Bell. Basically the deal is for the hardware. I can get a Bell HD PVR for $149 and a second HD receiver for free. Both mine to keep. These are not rentals. Is this a good deal? I don't want to jump at this right away without doing my homework. Some people have told me that Rogers picture quality is superior to BEV's.

That's a very good deal. Most other new customers would end up paying close to $500 for that combo, even after new customer credits. Cash up front would be in the $700 range from Bell or maybe as low as $600 if purchase on sale at a big box store.
 
Wish i could get that deal. I know my father inlaw will be upset, he's been with look for about 2.5 years now and is still waiting on his first bill to show up. Guess he might not be able to cash in on that deal concidering he doesn't really have any proof that he's a customer other then the service is working.
 
Shame to see Look discontinuing, I loved the service when I had it.

But yes, that's superb deal.
 
Well as long as your father in law nevers gets a bill then I would say he got the better deal by far :p
