I just recently purchased a 95 VW Jetta GLX VR6 and all I got were two keys. On the door panel where you push the nob thing down into the door that locks the door there is a light which I have known the alarm light to be but never received a remote for an alarm. Now, whenever I lock all the doors from the inside and driver-side door from the outside, then I unlock the door from outside and open it I get a buzzing sound coming from the speakers. It almost sounds like a power antenna going down but from the speakers. Once I turn the key to start the car then the sound goes away after like 2 seconds. I'm trying to figure out what this is and if anything I will just go to the dealership or an alarm installer to have them take a look at it. Thanks for any help!
I have also been having starting problems and not sure if this is why. If the car sits then it takes a while to get it to start. Pretty much, the longer the car sits then the longer I have to crank it before it starts. I feel like the gas is draining back into the gas tank and whenever I start it back up then the fuel gets put back into the fuel line then to the injectors. I read that an issue like this may be from the fuel pump relay but not really sure. Thanks again for your help.
