speaker Question

I want to replace my speakers and I am looking at the Hogtunes, Harley Boom, and J&M 5.25. Which of these 3 are the best bang for the money. I have stock radio and no amp, don't need any input on amp or J&M 7.25 I am on a limited budget and these are all I can afford. If you have any better speakers around the same price range let me know.

I have the Hog-tunes front farring mount, rear pod mount and the tweeter pod add on. I like the sound and recomend any or all of the 3 Hog-tune products I own. They all perform well. I may even install the lower set w/amp, but haven't done so yet. I can't speak to the other 2 brands you mentioned, I have no first hand knowledge. Hope that helps.

PS I got mine from Eastern Performance Cycles on E-bay. Best prices I found and reputible vendor.

One thing I figured out by reading all the speaker threads is that you can't figure out anything by reading all the speaker threads.

I was ready to pull the trigger on some J&Ms and then started reading bad reviews. I was ordering some other stuff from Zanotti and just added a set of Boom speakers to the order. I don't have them on the bike yet so I can't say how they sound.

I was a little disappointed when I looked at the box and it said "Made in China".

Ain't that the truth !!! I always reccomend to go to a local "bike night" and lurk around. Chances are, there will probably be a lot of different combos there.

Since Hawg Tunes & Hawg Wired are the most popular,...they should be easy to find.

Then, let your ear be your guide. Everyone hears a little differently.

Eventually, you'll hear something that you like !

Good Luck !!

I have a friend that bought the J&M's and his are way louder then my stock ones. The Hog Tunes are the cheapest and seems like a lot of you guys like them. Decisions
