Speaker Issue

I'm pretty sure I have a defective speaker (speaker phone). I've tried all the fixes listed on here. (updated the OS, removed battery etc) When on speaker phone it sounds like crap very tinny sounding at louder volumes. It sounds OK on low volume though. The phone was purchased off of eBay, I called T-Mob to see what my warranty options were and they could not find anything regarding my phone. Will I be able to get a replacement or will I have to pay the $100 warranty charge?

Did you try taking the back cover off? Can we say design flaw?

You'll only have to pay the out of warrenty fee if there's something that you physically did to the phone to make it act that way. . . ie. water damage. You should be alright.
