Spam text messages?

HAHA I had the same thought.

And to the OP I dont think there is a way on the phone, but im pretty sure if you give the number to tmobile they can block all incoming data... but im not 100% sure about that.

I have texting blocked completely on my phone. You can set it through T-mobile's website, or call in and they can do it for you, but that blocks everyone from texting you.

Go to my.t-mobile.com and log in.

On the top, click on messaging, then "send a text message"

On the right side will be a link "set up e-mail filters"

You then have options to block e-mailed sms messages, i.e. [email protected]

People can still SMS you using your regular phone number, but not from a computer.

Through the computer is how people spam you...they use a bot to type in every 10 digit number @ everywirelesscarrier.com.

How about AntiSpamSMS in Android market.

Not sure where you are based, but if you're in the UK you can forward them to your operators' spam unit. They'll take the complaint forward for you.

If anyone spam calls / texts me I report them or handle it myself - it's amazing how many companies review their spam policy after you've rung the managing director at home during his / her dinner
