spam or the real thing?

has anyone else received an e-mail supposedly from yahoo, stating that if you don't update your account info in 24 hours, your account will be closed and you wil lose all your yahoo files and data? i did and im trying to find out if this is spam or for real. thanks debra
 
spam. i get those all the time for hotmail... nothing ever happened. dont worry about it.
