Spam email about learning a language?

i agree. yes you could learn simple phrases such as hello, my name is......, where is....? but i would say it is impossible to become fluent in a completely different language, it take months- years to fully understand the language

I got this e-mail saying that one can learn a new language in just 10 days. Explain, do you really believe that. I learnt a new language which is Spanish, but it took at least 1 1/2 to 2 years to really get the hang of how the words and grammar go. I think you can learn simple greetings in 10 days, but to actually become fluent in the language I believe takes at least a couple years of practicing.
 
They are surely asking you to send them money for the program?

Yup. Sounds like a scam.

! 1/2 to 2 years is about okay for conversant. I doubt you are fluent, even in Spanish...

I'm curious...how did you learn Spanish? Cause I would LOVE to conversar with someone who thinks they are fluent through Rosetta Stone...I want to know just how fluent is fluent.
