Spaced

The second half of that episode was just a mindless club song. Maybe it's reminiscent for clubbers at the time but for me it was pretty boring.

pure genius.........

my tv listings don't go that far in advance.......... is the next episode the same time next week?

Im definately going to put them all on a video and break the tab off! (yeah, Im a cheapskate! lol)

It was ok. I've heard it gets better and to a first timer the first episode is just introducing the situation and characters.

I like the fast cutaway type work which i've seen in later Pegg shows/movies.

I think it may have been better the first time round as it was new and no-one had seen or heard of them, or Shaun of the Dead :D

Delivered today .....

I am advised to "turn off the lights, spark up a fatty and check your coat pockets for Jaffa Cakes - tonight is gonna be a large one" ..... :D

It would be good to know as it's the first time i've seen the show and as it's on Dave at 10pm on a Monday it fits nicely into my schedule.

I was suprised about the amount of UK comedy talent that popped up, even if just as cameos.

The second half was a nod to Human Traffic which was released earlier in 1999. If you haven't seen that then it wouldn't make much sense nowadays!

I loved that episode last night and I daresay it was a nod to human traffic, and the club scene in the early 90s. As an ex-clubber of that era, I thought they got it spot on. I even think I recognise which club it was filmed in. Hubby gets so bored with me going on about it every time we see that epidode so I can understand people not enjoying it - if they weren't into that particular scene.

Epiphanies is the best episode of SPACED ever in my view.

And from a technical view it's fantastic- it's very difficult to do a convincing nightclub scene - Pegg/Stevenson/Wright nailed it.
