Spaceballs...

We've actually known for a while, but it hasn't been brought up in a good while. As far as I know, they're still working pretty hard on it.

...And Code Monkeys has its' moments. Like Comedy Central's Drawn Together, they tend to overdo the rude-and-crude humor in their attempts to make it as un-PC as posisible, but the show still delivers a halfway decent joke once in a while. It's an OK concept, anyway.

Now if G4 would just stop trying to be Spike Jr. and dump the random crap shows like Cheaters, Totally Outrageous Behavior and Cops, resurrect The Screen Savers in some form or another and put some decent high-tech/computer geek/video game themed shows back on the network, it could actually become watchable again.

Well, Attack of the Show was formerly The Screen Savers, so I'm gonna say "yes." Therefore, G4 has no reason to air two shows that fill what is, in their eyes, essentially the same niche. That's not to say that I don't miss the old days of the Screen Savers, but that's a bygone era.

As much as "G4 sucks" (which I agree), I think Spaceballs in that channel has the potential of being good, I'm sure G4 put no restrictions on what they could do.
The downside of course is if it gets low ratings it'll be canned quickly as they never give anything a chance.

Are you sure? I seem to remember reading somewhere that G4 is the least watched cable channel. Like, most Americans don't even know they have it. I didn't even know DirecTV got it until, like, last summer.

When I first heard about this my thought was "I will only give it a chance if Mel Brooks is working on it." Now that seems to be the case so I am going to watch it.

Positive. I only have basic cable, and G4 is part of the digital package.

Heck, if I had the digital package, I wouldn't still be bothering NIV for Oban episodes.
