Spaceballs: TAS ???

I remember reading here a while back that G4 was planning to have a Spaceballs animated series, and I've seen ad promos for it on the G4 channel as well. So far, all I've seen on G4 for the time I've had it was Ninja Warrior, Attack of the Show, and X-Play. I am wondering if anyone else has seen this Spaceballs cartoon, and if so, when did it air? Will it come out on DVD?

The Spaceballs animated series hasn't premiered yet. You haven't missed it. And since the show hasn't made its' debut as of yet, it's far too early to be expecting a DVD.

It actually has potential since Mel Brooks is working on it but I don't know when it's suppose to air.

I still think this show has promise considering that Brooks is penning the scripts. Mel Brooks has never left me down with his parodies before and I don't think he will now.

G4 did announce that it was gonna start June 1, but their schedule for that date is now up, and still no sign of it.

Apparently Canada's Super Channel is airing this now, and G4 still has no schedule for it.

crash landed on the planet of the apes. How does he get back in power? That'll be interesting to see.

So is the title ("Spaceballs: The Animated Series") an homage to "Batman: The Animated Series" or the movies running gag of "Spaceballs the toilet paper", "Spaceballs the breakfast cereal", "Spaceballs the flame thrower" and so on?

Or maybe its a reference to both.:sweat:

I'm guessing the latter running gag.

I just can't wait to see how this turns out, Mel Brooks is a genius, the creators of Meet The Spartans could learn something from him, this show has so much to parody, recent Sci-Fi films and even animated shows and films.
