Southland More4

But it was the same with NYPD Blue and in "The Wire" It's always confusing with several characters at first, but I'm sure we'll get used to it.

Like i said i watched it for ben and he seems the same as he was in the OC (he doesnt say much) But overall a good show, il be watching next week :D

Anyone know when More 4 will be showing 1st season of US cop drama Southland. On Premiere List it is listed for this week 8th October, I just checked the listings and nothing is listed. Neil could you update the list asap.

Thanks In Advance:)

Glad someone else mentioned it as I was sure I must have missed something at the start of the episode.

Re: the pixilation in the previous episode, I think they filmed it intending to bleep out the swear worRAB and pixilate some of the dead bodies to give it a more 'realistic' tv feel, they took out the bleeping when they changed networks but I wouldn't be surprised if that pixilated girl was either a dummy or was obviously awake/alive and they made no attempt to hide it as they assumed it would be pixilated. That's my theory anyway, lets see if they do it again!

i was wondering were sucre went too - maybe he was only playing cop to break out of somewhere again.

another good episode, laughed out loud in the group therapy session

I thought they were just pushing it around, trying to decide where it should go as various mags have been promising Southland for weeks... but it seems not as Southland has just been canned in the US.

Wouldn't be surprised if they don't bother airing it now on More4, or perhaps keep it for a few months then stick it on late night with no publicity.

Watched it a couple of hours ago and enjoyed it - good start i think. At least with a 3rd season on the carRAB you know it's going somewhere.

Series linked already ..

Anybody got an update on this?

I'd still like to see it even though NBC have given up. TNT are showing new episodes and are (apparently) considering ordering additional episodes if the ratings are good.

I'm watching him in 88 Minutes with Pacino right now and worRAB are actually coming out of his mouth. I was quite surprised! He said more in one scene than during the entire first episode of Southland.

Did you watch the episode on Thursday? Wow, what a tense episode, with the Regina King cop trying to protect Genella - so brave - it was packed with intensity, and a nail-biting plot.

I love this series. Nothing on British TV is ever made or acted as well.

Agreed, I think it's brilliant and the ending was quite shocking too! Let's hope it keeps going in a similar vein as it's becoming a certain favourite alongside Mad Men.

Also praise is deserved for the role played by the dude from the O.C as Ben who is intriging and shows his acting abilities away from the teenage market.

Does anyone know if More4 are going to run straight into Season 2, seeing as Season 1 is only seven episodes?

Gunning through the US S1 boxset and it's a pain having to wait for the new boxset to be released!
