There's a brand new episode of South Park. Tonight at 10PM we will get the second episode of Season 14. And though the premiere was pretty... medicore (Besides Radical I don't reacall anyone really liking it, and that guy likes most any episode of a show he sees) hopefully this will be better. Guess we'll find out in less then Five hours.

SYNOPSIS: "The boys are given a controversial book to read in school that both excites and inspires them to write one of their own. When the boys discover that Stan's mom has found their masterpiece, their new motivation is how they can stay out of trouble."

Enjoy Everyone!

This episode is actually really good. I guess it is the view of everyone vomiting over just words, and of course the Chinese readers vomiting over each other. Great episode, still waiting for the end.

Any one not really "feeling" this episode? To me, it seems nothing more than an overdone bit of throw up jokes, with recent events and Sarah Jessica Parker bashing thrown in for good measure.

Well, it was an improvement over last week's episode, I'll give it that. Still gross with the throw up gag every minute was something I wasn't a fan of. But I did kind of like how Butters wanted to kill people that were already dead and how he inspired someone to kill the Kardashians.

The reading of Butters' book was the hardest I've laughed at this show in at least a year, if not longer. Sometimes the simplest jokes are the best ones.

The constant vomiting was less to my liking -- I mean, here's a good example of two "bathroom" gags juxtaposed, with one not really working and the other working incredibly well.

I also liked the stuff about The Catcher In The Rye, even though that's my favorite book. And the stuff about Sarah Jessica Parker. All in all, good episode.

I really don't see the point of having all the vomit in this episode. It wasn't funny the first time around and wasn't funny seeing people puke again and again, though to be fair unlike some gags there wasn't any trace of it in part three. (Yeah people were prepared to vomit again but that's different then the actual vomit). I also thought they kind of focused a bit too much on Sarah Jessica Parker (okay yeah most see her as pretty ugly but that's the kind of thing that works better as one joke, not an entire subplot. Maybe if the book focused on other ugly celeberites being targetted it'd work but it didn't). THe Karadashian thing worked better due to it being more in the background (and it being Butters show) and I dind't see the ending with him getting the family kill coming so that was good.

Still this episode was better then the last one. Since the joke was that instead of it being about SYMBOLISM, it was the boys pointnig out that the book that they wrote and Butters wrote had no symbolism. It was just a bunch of vulguar images and lines that people thought had a deeper meaning then they didn't. Which I guess was the whole point of comparing it to Catcher and The Rye: To try make a point that not every book has a message in it. (Though really you can have something be gross and still politcally appeal to both sides. Isn't that what South Park does?) I also liked how the boys bonded over reading the book after their disappointment in Catcher and The Rye, getting Butters to take the blame for it, Kenny and Cartman plotting on Killing Jessica Parker and trying to get the book banned. Actually this ep would of been stronger if it was more focused on the boys instead of on all the puking. And the townspeople and news anchors. Though news anchors are a step above generic scientists at least like this ep is a step above the last one.

I thought it was ok, I actually found the vomit gag funny, I guess I like the idea of the boys making a book that can make a grown person vomit within seconds of reading. The funniest part to me was the Chinese reader reading the book, and everyone vomiting over it, on each other, and on the books as well.

With the exception of all the vomiting, pretty good episode this week. The best part was probably Morgan Freeman reading "The Poop That Had To Pee".

I enjoyed it, but i didn't laugh a single time (it was humorous though, just not laugh inducing). I guess it wouldve helped if i knew who Sarah Jessica Parker was.

One thing missing from the episode: Butters having the urge to kill Rebecca Schaeffer (aka the actress from My Sister Sam who was also killed by someone who have read Catcher in the Rye).

It was an alright episode (though I'll be in the minority and say I actually found the last episode funnier)...The vomiting gag was way overdone, and I didn't find it funny to begin with (I was actually kinda grossed out by it,and kept having to look away)...
I did like...

the kids' enthusiasm for reading Catcher in the Rye,after finding out it was banned (especially Cartman...after pointing out that the book inspired the murder of John Lennon, according to him, "the king of the hippies")...

The book "inspiring" Butters to kill people who are already dead...

The boys, after being annoyed that Catcher in the Rye is banned, since they found it so lame, deciding to write a book that's deliberatley foul and more worthy of being banned...

Having the boys' plan to use Butters as a scapegoat backfire on them, since the adults see their work (and Buttters' later follow-up) as genius, reading far too much into it...

Great/hilarious episode,

The highlights:
Nice of Catcher In The Rye to be in it, it's a great book.
The four boys wanting to see the dirty stuff in the banned book, hehehe.
The book "inspiring" Butters wanting to kill people are already dead like John Lennon & Ronald Reagan was hilarious, hahahaha.
The four boys creating their own cool book called The Tale Of Scrotie Mc.Boogerballs, hahahaha, what a funny title.
Sharon & Randy puking while reading the book, hahahahaha, so the new book is vulgar/disgusting making people vomit while reading it:ack::eek:, wooooow.
The Kardashians, niice.
The four boys become super pricks making poor Butters taking the blame.
Nice of Butters to take the credit for the book to some respect for once.
Funny with all the people & the Chinese puking while reading the sick book, hehehe.
I love Butters' cool new author look.
Go Butters to finally stand up to the boys for always being used/taken advantage of which I had a big round of applause for that scene, my little joke about it came true:D!!!!!
Sarah Jessica Parker looks so ugly with no lines, hehehe.
The four boys wanting to ban the book.
Butters wanting to make a second novel.
Kenny & Eric wanting to kill Sarah Jessica Parker was funny, hahahaha.
Hehehe, all people having their trash cans/buckets ready.
Cool, it's Morgan Freeman.
Sarah Jessica Parker ready to be killed as a moose by the hunters was hilarious, hahahahahaha:p:D.
People like his second book, The Poop.
Some guy killing the Kardashians after being "inspired" was funny.
Poor Butters to be hated, but great of the four boys to cheer him up which was sweet/touching.

Great to have Sharon get some major focus & I hope this episode will be the last of the puking gag since it's so overused.
First Family Guy, & now South Park with the punching bag characters getting their revenges which is awesome.

Butters was grounded again?

Too much vomiting in the episode! Why the vomits while reading the Scootie story?

There was even a Walter Cronkite parody mourning the death of the Karshigadians in the style of when he reported the announcement of John F. Kennedy's death in 1963.
