South Park: Season 12 to start in March

Hope Trey and Matt's Season 12 South Park episode(s) deal with spoofing the WGA Writers Strike but put the South Park kid residents on strike!
 
Instead of the kid residents on strike, they should have the teachers at South Park elementary on strike. I would like to see Trey and Matt take shots at the WGA whether good or bad.

Still were two months out from the season premire so anything right now is hypothetical unless they already started forming the script for the first episode.
 
They already did an episode dealing with a strike. "Christian Rock Hard" featured a sub plot about striking musicians. Dunno how they'd do it again without covering the same ground.
 
There's way more ground to cover. The reasons for the strike are much different. There's a union involved. Almost every major series, late night show, and award ceremony across the board is affected. There's the general idea of TV being nothing but re-runs for who knows how long. They can easily think up a half-hour about this.
 
Posibly the plots and characters depth, I don't know. But I do know that this show is more than kids than curse in every other sentence. :sweat:
 
Maybe in Season 12 of South Park there could be a sequel to last season's "Imaginationland" 3 parter, maybe the Imaginationland residents go on strike and the South Park kids try to resolve it before the imaginations get memory loss or something.
 
Maybe, but unlikely.

They got three episodes out of the Imagionationland premise, which I feel was at least one episode too many. It'd think they'd have more creativity than going right back to that concept again. Personally, I've seen enough of Imagionationland for several seasons.

If they do an episode about the writers strike I hope they keep it a bit more down to earth.
 
Instead of an Imaginationland trifecta, Matt and Trey will probably pull shots at another fantasy film, The Golden Compass. Matt and Trey will probably make fun of the political sphere again with armored elephants, Ann Coulter, and Hillary Clinton with The Golden Compass spoof. Surely one of the character's will say that film stinks at the end of that spoof.

Unfortunately, I don't have a crystal ball in predicting the new season. It's just all hypothetical at this time, but the issues going on now will have an effect for the upcoming season.
 
Maybe they'll take a jab at Cloverfield, and the boys reaction to watching said movie. Writer Strike will be easier to do now since it now has more things to jab at now since the it development from when the show was almost done with season 11 to when the new season and a half begins.

Towards animation method, isn't South Park done in Maya, or atleast one of the programs they use is Maya?
