South Park on Comedy Central at 5PM?!

It used to be that on cable, EVERYTHING mature and meant for adults would be aired after 8 p.m. Now look:

- The pay channels air R rated/MA show during the day. HBO and the like used to wait until after 7 p.m. to air R rated movies, now you can see them all day long. Showtime even had a 'Shameless' marathon in the daylight hours a few months back.

- Shows like NCIS, Supernatural, CSI, etc. get daytime timeslots despite all the gore/sex/violence.

Then you have syndication with Springer and his clones. The less said about them the better.

South Park's the least of parent's worries when you have much more hardcore stuff airing in the daytime.

Actually(and I should know this because I live in the Seattle area), king of the hill airs from 5-6 pm, then south park from 6-7, then family guy from 7 to 8 pm and then the simpsons from 8 to 9 pm.

I always wondered what the ratings for the 4 hours are myself. The whole south park airing at six pm is interesting though.
