South Park - "Medicinal Fried Chicken" - Talkback [3/31]

Hilarious/disturbing episode,

The highlights:
Randy becoming a drug addict like Brian/Stan Smith wanting the marijuana shocked me.
Eric's exploding head was funny, hehehe.
The doctor is such a great character & the only smart adult I think.
Eric so desperate for Kentucky Fried Chicken was funny, hehehe:D:p.
Nice to see Officer Barbrady, Jimbo, & Ned.
I like Billy Miller who's a great new villain who reminds me of Loogie, hehehe.
Eric joining Billy's smuggling gang on wanting Kentucky Fried Chicken, his plot rocks.
That T-Bag guy was pretty funny.
Eric not being caught by Officer Barbrady was priceless, hehehe.
Nelson returns, nice.
Colonel Sanders & his lines were funny which you don't want to mess with him:evil:, hehehe.
Poor Tommy's abuse was funny.
Eric taking over Billy's smuggling gang was great which he makes a great crime boss villain, hehehe.
Eric getting busted by the Colonel was funny.
Ouch, poor Billy's mother got shot, now both Scott Tennerman & Billy Miller are motherless.

After seeing the episode, the writers sure want to get away of showing sick stuff like that on the Randy plot, wooow.

I noticed a Hoppity Hop reference. Remember these bouncing toys?

Who ever would get a SCROTUM COAT rather than a FUR COAT? Hope Bob Barker/Drew Carey and their spay/neuter animal rights didn't know about this!

I think Matt and Trey knew that would be the weeks Zinger, and all they wanted was to see how they could get there and have it make sense. They knew Randy had giant balls, but why would be bounce with them? Hence why he broke his wagon, setting up the bouncing balls. The song made it 5 times funnier as well.

I'm glad to see Ned, Jimbo and Barbrady having more cameo :) (will Pip might do a future cameo appearance one day?) Previous posters mentionned "Tooth Fairy Tats 2000", it could had been interesting to bring back Luigi (the "Tooth Fairy Godparent") in this episode.

I enjoyed seeing Barbrady, Jimbo and Ned again, as well as Cartman's running gag about the Pope. I also enjoyed the little illegal smuggling subplot, but that's....it.

On the other hand, seeing the various men of South Park hopping around on swollen, cancerous testicles? That, frankly, is something I could have done better without.

South Park Scriptorium identified the music that played when Randy was bouncing down the street. It's "Chicken on the Rocks" by Jean Jacques Perrey.

Pretty good episode. The ending was the best part for me, with how they thought the marijuana was tied to the underground black market and KFC was tied to the cancer. :p

This South Park episode reminds me of those King of the Hill and American Dad episodes where Trans fats gets banned and characters try to find ways to smuggle the stuff into their towns.

The sub-plot with Cartman and Colonel Sanders was definitely my personal favorite part of the episode, mostly because of how it was an awesome Scarface parody (and to a lesser extent because it was also just funny to see Cartman go into withdrawal once KFC got banned from Colorado). The plot with Randy had its moments, as well, although I kind of felt that it became less funny around the 2nd half of the episode (with the exception of him and all of the other guys "bouncing" their way across town together, as that part just had me in tears with laughter for some strange reason which I still can't quite figure out  ).

Overall, yeah, I'd say that it is easily the best episode of the season so far, and an above average episode, overall.
