You know, thinking about it, I don't think Matt and Trey tore HSM to shreds as much as they could have, since they themselves have written at least two musicals (Cannibal! and the South Park Movie).

Did anyone notice when the boys were watching the "real" High School Musical movie, there was a line that was being sung that said...

"We're all in high school dancing on tables, singin' bout what we knooooow"

I didn't hear it the first time.

It only shows that M-rated humor is not crucial to the show it is only a tool or incidental to the show. The show has so much more going on and going for it rather than M-rated humor/material.

Whereas compared to Drawn Together, M-rated trash material is all it has.

The popularity shows that kid are extremely into it. I'm sure the old folks back in the 80s wondered why the hell we were so into Thundercats and Transformers.
