Episode #171

Summary: The head of the World Canadian Bureau leads the country into a long and painful strike and the responsibility of brokering a settlement rests with the boys.

Was not sure how to do the poll.

AIRINGS
Too many for me to bother counting...

So, what have you thought of the season so far? You mentioned the season premiere surprised you, so maybe the season will turn out better for you.;)

Ugly Bob would be awesome! Since they brought back Scott for the Christmas ep back in season 7, anything's possible.

I'm still hoping for a 'Not Without My Anus II'.

....Was I the only one who thought the original episode was funnier than the entire Cartman's Dad 2 parter?

I actually really liked 90% of the AIDS episode. One of the strongest seasons openers in a long time. I loved the back and forths between Cartman and Kyle.

The Britney Spears episode was a little bit much. I laughed at it a bit while I was watching it, but the ending (while a very astute observation) left a bad taste in my mouth. Not a horrible episode, but not one I'd watch again.

I enjoyed pretty much all of last week's, aside from the Heavy Metal stuff. Never saw the movie, didn't care for the references. The Kenny stuff and the Cartman subplot was gold though.

Oh goody, a music number! I should've seen this coming. They always make musicals out of Canada based episodes since B,L, & U. And I never tire of it.

Family Guy reference. Yep, this is definitely based around the writer's strike. (Like we didn't see that coming)

Poor Butters. Roped into another crazy scheme.

Oh god, the internet crazes have all come together.....and yet no AVGN reference?

Well at least Chris Crocker sure got what was coming to him. Seriously though, couldn't they just beat each other up without the mass massacre? I know making moments like these a gratuitously violent as possible but I don't think it was needed. (Plus I could've seen the dramatic chipmunk/gopher doing the "Scanners" exploding head reference coming. Don't tell me I'm the only one)

"You ARE a homo Butters." Cartman speaks the truth.
