Last week someone (cough cough CaptainHero cough) made an SP talkback a bit too early. However that was last week and this is now, and there's a brand new episode of South Park tonight on Comedy Central at 10PM and this is the place to talk about it.

SOUTH PARK EPISODE 169 TALKBACK!

SYNOPSIS: "Britney Spears is trying to get away from it all in the mountains near South Park, Colorado when the boys have a run-in with her. Stan and Kyle get caught up in Britney?s celebrity and the never-ending feeding frenzy that follows her wherever she goes."

Parodying Britney Spears may seem like a tired joke by now but South Park has always been good at trashing celebrities (see Paris Hilton in "Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset"). Will this be trash or a classic episode? I'm hoping on the later espically since I still found the premiere kind of eh. So anyway enjoy this one and such!

Hopefully it's none of the following:

- A "Stupid Spoiled Whore" rehash
- Britney turns out to be an android or alien or something
- There's some kind of secret society/Government conspiracy for why the paparazzi stays glued to Britney
- a multi-part episode, we've had quite enough of those recently

I was iffy on last week's episode before it aired and it ended up really impressing me. I'm even more iffy on this one - my thoughts are that we're in for a half hour of juvenile "Britney is stupid" nonsense. I could be wrong, but South Park rarely succeeds in impressing me two weeks in a row.

Pretty much why I don't watch South Park on my own will anymore. It seems like everything's either a cult, a conspiracy, or aliens to Matt and Trey now. Plus, it's pretty much all Cartman, Butters, and Randy.

My guess is that Stan and Kyle run into Spears somewhere - and of course she's a completely insane, uninhibited freak. They're caught up in this little adventure where the paparazzi are made out to be these despicable monsters - despite that fact that Britney will be portrayed as messed up as possible.

IF they go this route I really hope Stan and Kyle do more than complain throughout the entire episode about how lame everything is.

Why do I feel like this is going to be "Stupid Spoiled Whore Playset" version 2.0? Like Britney Spears need any more attention.

Or, in equally typical South Park fashion, it could be a completely new and original take on the whole issue that no one had the guts to say before.

We'll just have to wait and see.

Satellite TV Guide: "When the boys help get Britney to the North Pole, they discover the shocking secret to her popularity."

Yup, it sounds like it is going to be a government/alien/paparazzi conspiracy thing I bet you.

SICK! Britney Spears pissing on a ladybug is more important than the Clinton vs Obama campaign? What's the world to coming to?

Butters = Chris Crocker?

DAMN! Already she killed herself? Wait she's alive?! Well if you call THAT alive.

Oh great, more Chris Crocker references.

It's obvious that the statement of this episode is that the media is paying too much attention to Britney's problem and oblivious to the damage caused by the attention.

Poor Butters can't seem to catch a break. One has to wonder why he didn't just take off the squirrel costume though.

Geez, did Chris Crocker write this episode himself or something?

Ooh the return of the latin singers from the Damien episode.
