Sound of Music has probably always been in my life and I remember how I nearly disliked it because my mother always saw it and I was so tired of the movie. But then I saw it with new eyes a couple of years ago and I relised, as so many times before my mother was right - it is a wonderful movie and now I love at just as much as she does.

I don't know why but I love Liesl, she's my favourite. Sixteen going on Seventeen is wonderful, I always get so happy when I here it and can't help to feel like jumping up and dance around the room. Actually most of the songs in the movie makes me wanna do that.

Could talk on forever about this movie but - the sun has gone to bed and so must I..

I am very much looking forward to Christmas break...cause then I will definitely have time to watch SOM!

Yea my 1st tape ened right before the party so the waltz was on the 2nd tape.

Those tapes are like collector's items now.

I had the 2 disc VHS too. and sometimes I'd just watch the 2nd tape
the first tape ended with Gretl being excited about the party

I think since they were so musical they must've been artistic since music is a form of art

Has anyone seen the 40th anniversary reunion on Good Morning America last year? If not you can find it on Charmian Carr's (Liesl) offical website :) Julie and all the seven of the "kids" were there :)

Titanic to Rambo?
that's a little extreame.

At least SOM and MP are both musicals and both have a governess that sings to the children.

I'm sure the VonTrapps were very artistic :)
I'd like a painting of their estate in Austria.
