I have enough trouble understanding Baltar's accent and he decided to ask questions then.

Yeah, we have to make up stuff on the spot a lot because somone won;t be there that day, or someone will miss a cue and you'll have to cover for them, or someone will forget their lines and you'll have to feed the lines to them. It's stressful to do it somtimes, but it makes it so much more intersesting.

thanks for the links

my dad did the same thing when he was watching the action scenes in The Island. He wanted to know what would happen and me not liking to explain things got annoyed

Ok so I am the only angsty one here
Everyone likes the cookie cutter manager story.

Vic, is he Austrian or American?

Well we had 2 Marias because one was moving halfway through the run. They were both actually pretty good with the singing, one was a bit better than the other, but very little ahd to be changed to accomodate them. they both did the part very differently from the toher person, and they both did it VERY different from Julie, but after having rehersal almost every night for over two months and then performing it 4 days a week, being there for over 6 hours, for 9 weeks, I eventually just stopped trying to compare them.

Because NO ONE can compare to Julie.

I mean, if a big fan like any of us here went to see it, you'd probably would be making comparisions the whole time. But if you stopped yourself and didn't do that, that's when you'd be able to get the full effect of seeing it live, that's when you'd really be getting lost in the whole world of it.

^ So do I.

I watched Mary Poppins today (I hadn't seen it in a really long time), and I don't see how anyone could say it's better than SOM. I know MP is a Disney classic and all, but I don't even see how the two films are comparable (aside from the fact that Julie Andrews stars as a nanny in both). MP is fun and silly family fare and SOM is a serious, Oscar-winning masterpiece.

I knew I wasn't the only one!
:rotfl:

oh my what's going on?? I am floating... I'm floating to the ceiling!

ok that was silly.
