Soulja Boy Tell 'Em Gets Online Animated Series

This sums up my feeling on Soulja Boy being animated.

Soulja Boy still trying to make the most of his 15 minutes I see. Well I assume this will be as successful as Class of 3000, The NKOTB cartoon and Hammerman.

You know what? I'm not gonna insult the dude, he's trying as hard as he can to make his life a success and he'll probably make more money than most of us will ever see. Good for him, and tbh when you look at Crank Dat as how it was meant to be it's not as bad. It's just a club song that you're supposed to dance too, don't think about it too hard just listen so yeah...I'm not gonna say anything besides, good for him.

I can't help but rage at anything Soulja Boy does. He's already infested every other medium of entertainment, and now he's getting his own cartoon?

Luckily its online and not on a real network, otherwise I may have thought less of some channel right now.

The only way I will even consider watching it is if its a dreadfully truthful self parody, but considering his attempt at parody with his Ice T video, it's just going to blow.

Actually, as has been stated before, Class of 3000 actually did pretty well in the ratings. It was the constantly changing animation styles for it's music videos that led to the cancellation.

Comparing this to Hammerman is definitely more accurate.

Class of 3000 was successful, but the costly (and constantly changing) animation styles lead to its downfall. Soulja Boy...well, at least it wouldn't be on TV.

Oh come on, it's just a webtoon. If it was an actual cartoon on an actual network then I'd understand some of these posts. We should be happy that it's not going to be a real show.

It's not like this is the first rap-themed cartoon or the first animated show centered around a rapper; Street Frogs, Hammerman and Station Zero say hi.

Also, this is just going to be a webtoon, not a TV series, and even if that weren't the case, just because a show is on doesn't mean you have to watch it, any more than you're required to listen to rap on the raido. Alleviating the problem is as simple as changing radio stations or simply not clicking 'Play' on Soulja Boy's webtoon.
