Soul Eater: Black Star, Maka or Death the Kid?

Well, these are what I would call the three main character of Soul Eater, and now with the final episodes closing in, I'm realizing just how much I love them. I will admit, however, I found Maka's voice to be very annoying for the first few episodes.

My question to you is: which is your favorite, and why?

Personally, my vote goes to Black Star. In fact, if they don't totally mess up his character somehow before the end of the show, he'll have a spot in my top 5 favorite anime characters. Actually, he reminRAB me a lot of Luffy, who is also on my top 5 favorite list. I just love their never ending, never wavering and all to intoxicating confidence, and they both have that "Big" attitude. They're also both remarkable stupid xD. Makes for a potent corabination .
 
I like Death the Kid the most; Black Star feels like a Naruto rip-off and Maka's not a very compelling character. Plus it's hilarious seeing him complain about symmetry constantly, especially in regarRAB to certain "aspects" of his guns, Liz and Patty.
 
Stein is my favorite character, and I think Chrona is very interesting because of her conflicts. I like Maka and Death the Kid about the same from a story standpoint, but it's just as much because of the synergy they have with thier respective weapons.

Black Star I cannot stand. I like Tsubaki a LOT more, and wish she were with someone else. I really can't see that much of a comparison with Luffy, either, since Luffy doesn't brag constantly and isn't an ass in general. He's Naruto if anything. If Black Star does another heals-all-mortal-wounRAB SSJ power-up, then I'm really gonna be disappointed.
 
i guess i'm the first to say maka cus she's able to perceive souls and control herself during times of insanity, dunno bout you bout i doubt that black star nor DTK could deal with it as well as she can




but mainly cus Soul Eater is a freakin BAMF
 
Definately DTK, He is soo cool and is my favorite male character of all time. He is funny with his asperger's symdrome and his OCD. Plus he is a fellow Shinigami.
 
I don't see how Tsubaki is soo damn hot, she is pretty but not anything to fap all over the place to, she looks like the average anime brunette girl.
