Sorrority Row

Did you not like any of them?

I thought Cassidy and Ellie were very likeable and the head bitchy Girl I thought was pretty effective and ended up liking her in a sort of love to hate way.

At the end of the film
Do we think it's the killer boyfriend, or is it Garrett? I thought Garrett because they did a close up of his wrists and we know Garrett had slashed his wrists and the gardener definitely had slash marks, but my frienRAB thought it was the killer boyfriend back and he hadn't actually died

I think it was definately Garrett, because they focused on the wrists, definately opening up for a second one with Megan's sister

I actually liked this surprisingly. I hate horrors but this wasn't very horror-y (lol sorry struggling for the word) it was more a thriller.
Because i read the spoilers i knew who the killer was but i think everyone else was totally surprised by it.
I don't know if they'll bother making a second one of this though because it bombed at US box office so who knows :(

I watched this last night and thought it was pretty average (Better than stuff like the recent 'Prom Night' remake, but nowhere near as good as some of the french horrors i've been watching lately). The girl who played Cassidy was in 'S. Darko', and while she was very attractive, she's got one of the most irritatingly gravelly voices i've ever heard.

The plot was VERY predictable, and the jumpy moments were blatantly obvious. Some of the logic was daft too, for example: when you are in a shower room, why would you find it odd to hear a shower get turned on? and then why the hell would you go to investigate it? You're in a SHOWER ROOM! What do you expect to hear?!?!?

I suppose my "enjoyment" of the film wasn't helped by the usual mornoic 15 year old audience that i had to sit with. The briefest sight of tits had the teen boys whooping like they'd never seen a pair...

Also, was i the only one who wanted Rumer Willis to say "Yippee Ki Yay motherf*cker!" after she'd shot the bad guy at the end? lol.

So glad I didn't read the spoilers in this thread before going to see it!

Was an ok film in my opinion. Wasn't at all scary though. Was it supposed to be?

I echo this. That said, Teens would probably find it scary if a teletubbie suddenly appeared on screen as long as it appeared perfectly timed with a loud musical cue...........actually, that would be pretty creepy, lol.

It was never scary though. It built tension fairly competently, but then it just gave into the usual horror movie cliches where someone appears in a mirror as the door shuts. Deaths in US horror movies make me laugh usually as they are so OTT. When i saw this last night i think you could hear 30 teenagers scream and then me loudly giggling to myself, lol.

I dont think this was much a horror as it was more a thriller. Believe me i'm heart scared of horror films to the point where i pay to go to them and sit my hand covering my eyes and i only had to do that once or twice with this film lol

Saw it yesterday, thought it was pretty good.

The plot was a bit ridiculous and not at all original, but there were some good jumpy moments and I thought it was actually really funny. :o Good acting as well.

I did like this, although something about it seemed quite 'watered down.' It didn't seem gory at all when compared with other recent horror films (Final Destination etc)

Also, something kept bugging me all the way through the film. Just how old did the blonde one look? (The complete bitch) She looked at least mid-thirties, and more like the other girls' mum!

We can just picture you sitting in the cinema puffing on a cigar telling everyone.......its not as good as the original movie! I have the VHS at home. Then you get up and stroll out the cinema lol.

The more i think about it, this was originally meant to be an 18 lol. Then they re-classified it without cutting anything out, makes me think why they classed it as an 18 in the first place.
