Sorrority Row

Anyone else seen this?

I enjoyed it, it made a nice change to have some likeable characters in a horror like this. Nothing original in the slightest but I still enjoyed it more than other similar horrors of recent years like Black Christmas or Prom Night.

Rumor Willis surprised me in not being as awful as I expected but I was gutted by the lack of Audrina Screen time!

Can someone post what happens in spoiler tags? It looks interesting but I can't be bothered going to see it at the cinemas.

Basically it's about the girls wanting to throw a party, but get caught by the headmistress, who they play a trick on and end up killling her by mistake. The rest of the movie is about the party and an unknown killer stalking and hacking them to death with a cane. It turns out to be the headmistresses' son who she thought she lost at birth.

I liked Sorority Row. It's true the plot is nothing original but the humour more than makes up for that. It's more effective as a comedy than a horror, although there are some genuinely jumpy moments as well. One thing I didn't like was the killer's motive - ridiculous  Overall though, an above average slasher :)

Some girls in a sorority house try to get revenge on a boy who cheated on one of them by pretending he's killed one of the girls by accident. Thinking he really has killed this girl, the boy tries to dismember the 'corpse' - killing her for real. They all dispose of the body, and a few months later someone starts killing them all. The killer is the main girl's boyfriend.

That's the original, Eddie, not the remake :p

I think you're talking about a different film from the one i've seen advertised. The one i've seen on the trailers is when a a group of girls play a prank on a guy (who cheated on one of the girls) and pretend their friend (the one he cheated on) is dead and they need to bury the body, but then they drive up to a forest in the dark and the guy really DOES kill the girl and then the Grim Reaper pushes a bottle down a girls neck and the Grim Reaper murders everyone. :o:p

The bookish girl told the main girl's boyfriend about the killing. Boyfriend realised that if Bookish Girl could tell him about the murder, any of the girls could do the same thing, so he decided to kill all the other girls to protect his girlfriend's secret.
Main Girl, Bookish Girl, and sister of the girl they accidently killed at the beginning survive, although there is a twist ending that makes it look like the sister's days are numbered.

Ahh i was hoping there was like some major audrina screenage but apparently not.
Is her acting up to much? or is it like shes in an episode of the hills.. granted she isnt saying 'justin' so many times and giving looooong stares at lauren lol

Damnit - I can't resist spoilers lol, well I'll probably still watch it.

From the trailer it looked like another 'I know what you did last summer' & from reading the spoilers, it still sounRAB that way.

I'm going to see this tonight with my other half, he's really into scary movies, i'm not coz they scare the life outta me so i'm glad i know whats gonna happen lol, kinda defeats the putpose of spending the

I thought this was terrible. Worst film I've seen at the cinema for a long time. Totally cliched, bad acting from unlikeable characters, bad plot, cheesey one-liners. NO tension, more like a comedy.
This is exactly the type of horror film I hate. Teens picked off one by one played out to a 15 audience usually disappoints so okay I should have maybe done better research before paying to see this but sometimes it can be done in an interesting original way. Not this time!
