Soreness Help

Hello

My skin on the left side of my back is very tender and also my left foot. When my t-shirt comes anywhere near this part of my back it really hurts, but there is no redness, also the side of my left foot, toes and ball of my foot are very sore to touch and walk on, but again no redness. I had a headache the other day, together with confusion and fatigue. I wondered if anybody else had experienced this?

It sounds like you may have shingles. This is a very paintful condition that usually runs along one nerve root. You should make an appointment with your doctor because there is medication they can give you to help with the symptoms. Shingles can last anywhere from two weeks to sometime eight weeks.

Thanks, I went to the doctor this morning and she wasn't sure if it was shingles or not and just told me to take Ibuprofen and come back if that doesn't work. Anyway I haven't taken any tablets as the soreness has gone on touch, but I keep itching and when I bend down to pick something up the area where it was sore hurts. Any ideas?
