Hello!

Wife and I are looking into getting the new 2007 M50 (mm.. fuel gauge.. :D )
Got the car for speed.. bike for a leisurely cruise.. should be fun :)

Looking forward to spending some time on these forums learning about the bike.

I'm trading my 06 Vulcan 750 for an 06 M50 this weekend. Black as black can be, beautiful bike that get's good reviews, will be much more comfortable than the Vulcan on long trips too I think, can't be any less comfortable anyway!

If you're looking for comfort then you need to get an aftermarket seat ASAP. The M50 seat is the worst seat I've ever had the pleasure of riding on. (Maybe this has been fixed since I bought my '05 model)

Have you ever ridden a Vulcan 750? I found the M50 like a lazy boy in comparison. Will probably get one of those gel covers anyway, every little bit helps!

I Agree with Davejb...I'm 6'2 and 215 so I don't know if that matters but that's a very comfortable seat for stock.

Hi all...I'm new here. I got a 2006 M50 this past June and I love it. Not having riden anything more than a dirt bike in the late seventies, I found the M50 to be a really easy bike to get used to. The controls are perfectly placed and and it's low enough for a guy my size (5' 9") to easily get both feet fimly on the pavement when stopped. As far as the seat goes...I really can't compare it to another bike, but because I ride a lot of bumpy back roads, I'm seriously thinking about the gel seat. Thanks -
