As mentioned, I have a Sony Xplod stereo along with 2 10 inch Alpines. For whatever reason, the stereo's sub settings won't work with my subs. I'm forced to use the basic bass settings used for my normal speakers. I'm assuming I didn't hook something up right durring installation. Any ideas as to what may not be hooked up right or what the problem could be?

check out on your fuse, to see, if it blown. then check on remote wire, rca cables, ground and power cable, all checked ok? If it's working then you need to take the subs out from the box, check the wiring on the subwoofer, if that looks ok, if it's plugged in right, after all that pretty much should be working. If still not working then the amplifier has problem you need a new amplifier.
