It is a Sony HDR-SR11. It's actually a family friend's who got it for Christmas, but gave it to us because the touchscreen is not working.
The problem is just that - There is no response when I touch the screen. Also, the brightness on said screen is turned to the level where I cannot see it by looking directly at it, but have to shine a light to be able to read anything.
I can't send it back in because the only way I can keep it is if I actually fix it. But I've been unable to figure out what to do - Even looking online for the manual didn't offer any help.
You guys know how to fix it? D:
