INFORMATION YOU MAY REQUIRE:
I have a Sony VIAO laptop, intel pentium 80 gigabyte hard-drive
I am currently using a
"optical mouse" Model AM-3055U
from Argos MK9 2NW. (UK)
Problem:
My mouse was working fine yesterday, no problems or errors.
Today it has started playing up- the light turns on, but the mouse does not pick up.
I keep getting a popup saying it is not recognised and microsoft thinks its faulty.
I have tried system restore, troubleshooting, using a different USB port, coding in the key myself and phoning up the helpline- i have also tried uninstalling, but that didn't work either.
Any suggestions or known fixes would be appreciated. 10 points to first person to post a working fix.
