Originally I was going to go with Movie Studio 10, but decided to do more research. Also, I tried the trial version of Movie Studio and found I can't do masking (which was one of the things I wanted, of course, I can't spend much over $100 so if all the programs with masking (not the masking done in photoshop, but like it is in Vegas Pro, which I would never be able to afford) are over like $150 then I guess I'll have to sacrifice it (-sigh-). I heard Pinnacle had masking and decided to check it out and it seems pretty good too (and is still on the cheap side 
). Cool special effects are awesome, and would help spice up my AMVs (thus the masking and what not).
If they both don't have masking, then which do you prefer (I've heard Pinnacle sometimes crashes, not sure if that's true or not, but I don't really care as long as it's not frequent since at the moment I'm using WMM which crashes all the time. I've learned to deal with it).
