Hi. My name is Kevin and I have been editing and making videos since I was 8 years old. I have always used vegas and this is the SECOND time I have ever run into this problem.
I am currently applying to a film school in Pittsburgh and I have completed my portfolio which is required in order to apply. The portfolio is a 4 minute video that consists of work I have done during my high school years. Some of these clips are 500 megabytes because of their large size.
I am trying to render my video in mp4 format, but about 20% into the video, I encounter an error saying I have run out of memory. My CPU usage is 100%, and the render fails.
This.Is.Bad.
I have closed EVERYTHING. I even tried rendering it right after booting my computer, and I still get the same message.
When I watch my task bar while its rendering, my ram is nowhere near filled, yet my CPU usage skyrockets.
I have a windows xp, "4" gigs of ram and a dual processor.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.
