I have an almost brand new Sony Vaio Z which was working perfectly fine up until today. When I press the side power-on button, the light goes on and it makes a typical start up noise, but then the light goes off and it just stops. I thought the battery was dead so I tried charging it, which didn't work. I then tried it with the battery removed while plugged in, which also didn't work.
This is extremely frustrating as this is a very expensive laptop. I'd really like to avoid sending it back through warranty.
Please help!!!
